Generic Combat Tourniquet for Professional use only. Training is required to apply this device.
This Tourniquet meets the new ANSI Z308.1-2021 standard for a Class B first aid kit which states in section 6.20, “Each tourniquet shall be at least 1.5 in wide and shall be effective on limb sizes ranging from 7 to 33 in. Each tourniquet shall be individually packaged as a single-use device, with instructions.” It specifically notes that a tourniquet used for blood drawing is insufficient to meet the criteria set forth.
