SOF Tourniquet

SOF Tourniquet by TacMed in Rescue Orange.  The tourniquet of choice by many of the USA’s largest police departments. This tourniquet meets the new ANSI/ISEA Z308.1-2021 standard. It has a US Patented design and proprietary technology that was developed and engineered by a former Special Operations Medic.

Each tourniquet features a tri-ring lock, retention assistance clip, high strength windlass, slack indicator wedge, rugged buckle and performance compression band. Purposeful upgrades allow for a faster one-handed and two-handed application for the most effective bleeding control.

Its innovative design comes from years of extensive research, material testing, and end-user feedback. The SOF Tourniquet easily slides over an arm or a leg, and features a buckle that can be unclipped to fit around hard to reach places or pinned limbs.
